Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my photo is suitable?

This can be tricky, but the best way to check is to open the photo on a PC and zoom into the person's face until it fills your monitor from top to bottom. If the image is still crisp and clear it's usually a good choice of photo. If it looks fuzzy and pixelated it might not be so good, however we can enhance it so feel free to place your order and we'll do our best with it. If you're still not sure, please get in touch with us before placing your order.

Photo Requirements

  • Allowed file extensions to upload: jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, gif, pdf
  • Please ensure you send a high quality photo - the bigger the better.
  • A forward facing shot only - looking at the camera please.
  • No closed eyes.
  • Close-Ups are best, if they're in the distance they'll be fuzzy!
  • Note: any problems with your photo may delay your order.

Can you 'enhance' my photo?

Yes! We have some fancy software that can enhance poor quality photos. If we feel that your photo is just inside our quality standards, we will enhance it to avoid a delay with your order.

Can I cancel my order?

Our orders are sent straight to our production team for printing, so unfortunately once an order has been placed we will not be able to cancel it.

How thick are the masks & what are they made from?

We use environmentally responsible FSC Certified cardboard, 350gsm with a silk coating. This makes a sturdy mask, with a great finish.

Are the masks fully assembled?

We offer three options - Ready to wear, precut or DIY . We can take care of the whole process, cut the masks out for you but leave you to assemble at home, or if you're on a budget you can cut out and assemble the masks yourself.

How do you print the masks?

We use a digital printing press to deliver excellent prints. It's an expensive machine designed for high volume, high quality prints. You won't get this finish at home!

What's the difference between Lifesize (A4) and Supersize (A3) masks?

Our lifesize A4 masks measure approximately 210mm x 297mm & our A3 masks measure approximately 297mm x 420mm. Our lifesize A4 masks are perfect for those that want a mask that is the right size to wear, but our supersize A3 masks are super fun for those that need something a fair bit larger.

What fixings do you supply for masks?

We can provide either elastic or sticks. Elastic is best if you'd like to wear the mask, but sticks are great for you to be able to hold the mask up in front of you.
